#7 A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MICRO PUB LANDLORD - THE MARKET ALE HOUSE

This week I visited the market ale house in Leyland (Lancashire) to have a chat with Jack about what it's like to run a micro pub. This included a liquid lunch that Jack kindly treated me to (get yourself a pilsner in there and you won't regret it) and escalated to rambling about a wide range of different things (a proper pub chat).

Topics included what it's like to be in the pub industry, the differences, between a micro pub and a normal pub (there's not much too it believe it or not), drinking culture in the UK, pickled eggs (yes you read that right) and the time I bottled it when serving comedian Dave Spikey.

#6 GETTING FIT IN 2019 - A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PERSONAL TRAINER

On episode 6 of the podcast I was joined by personal trainer Tom (Check out HGB-Personal training on Instagram for enquiries) and we spoke about all things fitness.

Topics included - The increasing obesity levels in the UK, how he helps his clients achieve what they set out to achieve, keeping on the right track, lazy people and their excuses and dieting and a whole lot more!

#4 COAST RIDER

This week we're joined by Clarke who is preparing for a bike ride (The Way Of The Roses) from the west coast of England to the east coast of England to raise funds for the baby beat appeal for a new bereavement suite at Preston Royal hospital.

Clarke and his wife tragically lost their son Louis in 2006 and the staff at Preston Royal hospital were fantastic to them both which is the main reason behind the sponsored bike ride to help the baby beat appeal to raise the funds needed for the new bereavement suite so that couples in the future who experience what Clarke and his wife experienced can do so in comfort.

Although this podcast has a very serious story, Clarke and I had a great laugh talking about topics such as Ikea, training for the journey, tales of times gone by in Preston and the infamous "binners ring" so if you're wanting a laugh then make sure to give this podcast a watch/listen!

This Podcast was an absolute pleasure to create with Clarke and we will hear from him again after he has completed his journey!

We talk Andy Ruiz Vs Anthony Josua, getting a cop chase, going to see the New York Yankees game, the New York night life and how he faired whilst working in the USA for the summer.  

 

Apologies for how long it's taken for me to release the second episode as I've got a new computer and had to get to grips with the new software as i'm still new in the game and i promise I'll be releasing atleast one podcast a week from now on!
